Update on Cheer Expo 2009:
On behalf of NMFL cheer I would like to invite you to participate in the NMFL Cheer Expo. This is an opportunity for all the cheerleaders of the North Metro football League to perform and show their team spirit. This is not a competition.
The event will take place on Sunday, 10/4 at 2pm in the Alpharetta High School Gym, located at 3595 Webb Bridge Road, Alpharetta, GA 30005. The main entrance to the school is on North Point Parkway south of Webb Bridge Rd. Here is a link to it on google maps
We are hoping for this to be a fun and exciting event for all the girls.
Registration - All teams need to respond by 9/25 if they plan on participating. Please include how many cheerleaders per squad and the age of the team they cheer for. This information is for placement and recognition gifts.
Performance – Each team will have 2 ½ minutes to perform their routine. This can be a dance and /or a cheer. Halftime routines are perfect for this event. Alpharetta is providing cheer mats for the performances. The AHS cheerleaders will be helping to run this event. Each squad will have an assigned escort and warm-up time before their performance.
Cheerleaders that are part of 2 different squads are also allowed to perform with both squads. Example – Girls that participate on a competition squad and a sideline squad can perform with both teams.
Divisions – The squads will perform by age, with the youngest squads going first.
Spectators – $6 per adult, $2 for children under 12, and NMFL players wearing a jersey are admitted for free.
T-shirt – Will be at the event.
